Fully automatic Fortune 3 book maker

U can place enchanted plate using a golem (that golem needs to be y+1 from printing press) then u can break press with block breaker (which only harvests press and drops the rest thats why I needed vacuum hopper for) to get enchanted plate back then u can place press and enchanted plate (after repairing) for detecting the enchanted plate I used a tally box. Note: This is doable at MV if u can trade some ender eyes.

Note if u are doing this at HV u can use Block Gate from SFM. U dont even need Controller just sending the item in to the block gate via pipes will place the enchanted plate. #1097618237715402862 message

thats golem placement btw if u dont wanna spent nether star on golem core use u can go for infused hummanus seeds dont forget that that seeds needs so much time so just use a hoe of growth.

Its way easier to use the block gate from SFM(it can simulate right clicking). it can both input and output the Enchanted Plate by inputing it into the hopper(Use a dummy item in the hopper to get the Plate out of the printing press again). You can also just fully automate it using SFM pretty easy but its hard to explain.

You can craft Mainframes way earlier, but you dont need the Manager. You can use the block gate on its own

I tried but I think u need to aim top side of the printing press and I was unable to do so with dynamism tablet.

A fortune 3 loot bag is really good basically it never returns trash item so u will always get good item.

the only thing (as sent before by persus) have the block gate 1 block above press

everything else can be wherever u want and keep the item valve in range

i typed it out pretty explicit for anyone unfamiliar with sfm

I think target for output B should be UP.
With target down it wouldn't insert for me.

Also I had an issue where the contraption will drop books/ink into the world.
I solved it be having the itemvalve pick those up too, but it's suboptimal.
Any idea what I could do to reliably insert books/ink into the press without dropping it into the world?

The chest can only receive input from the vacuum hopper so there should be no way for the plat to go there unless the thaumic restorer puts it into the block gate which throws it into the world instead of putting it into the typesetting press for some reason. It's also not consistent, but only happens sometimes

I don't get how to make block gate neither to place tablet nor to remove it. Do I need to programm it with factory manager first? On the image you've provided only block gate itself and items conduit. I thought it's all I need.

Moreover, item conduit don't take the fortune III book out of table

I have no idea. It is mentioned above. So, I repeated your setup. But I don't get how to use block gate. I can send the printing plate to it with conduit, and it will then put it into the table, right? But how can I remove fortune III books from the table?

for rmeoveing the plate it will just break the whole thing

so that u will have that plate removed

then it will repair that plate

it will replace the press books and ink so it can be ready for next 2 books

Actually, it removes the plate when it throws a torch to a table. But I didn't figure out how to remove the enchanted book. So I just break the table every time.

I wonder if using transvector interface would make this setup more compact and easier.

So I dont get why its just dropping the plate. Some here seems to have had the same issue, but I dont understand how they fixed it

It gets dropped then picked up by the vaccum hopper

And the Golem Option also doesnt seem to work, or at least i dont get him to move

big circle means it's looking a block second dot means where on the block it looks

Yeah I moved the dot around and tried a few things and the golem has the use upgrade 😕
I do play on 2.8 if the update changed things somehow

thanks this worked without issues (i lost some plates until i changes the target in the condition - but well reading is a skill)

i do feed books and ink with conduit
i put the enchanted book extraction under the condition (when false)
and i got rid of the extra flow control since the first one already has space and if you dont gate a branch with condition they all executed anyways
