Technic Launcher updated to 2.3, unable to log in

I play on the Epsilon server, which is apparently still in 2.2 (displaying 2.1.2.0 in the menu, but oh well), while my Technic launcher updated its version to 2.3. That makes it impossible to connect to the server, and I can't find a way to use or install previous versions on Technic.

Is there a way to make Technic play nice that I don't know, or will the servers be updated to 2.3 next restart anyway?

we try to pack curse pack so everyone can update first

after that is done, it's a 10 mins manipulation
