amp in my room i use a line 6 catalyst
i use an amp sim through a focusrite every once in a while but its really finicky and doesnt really do much so i hardly ever use it its also a pain in the ass to set up

the pick noise is bad no matter what pick or angle i use
i use a noise gate but for some reason the pick noise still comes through

and like practicing for sure that when you pick, you fret at the same time
and make sure things are in sync
