As a Jackson fanboy yeah that model is a bit meh mainly the Floyd special

But also over budget and king Vs are uncomfortable

Schecter is a good place to look, i’ve heard great things about the omen 7. The Ibanez rg 7’s are also great

I’ve heard some horror stories about fretboards coming cracked due to poor methods of drying the wood

The ibanez rgs are not as good as the other brands recommended here in budget. Also Solar and HB have long surpassed any qc and quality concerns and i would argue HB is the singular best budget brand if they're available to you.

i have a HB and an ibanez right now. I also want to get a guitar with a floyd rose

both are 6 strings
