#Spark 2 vs 100w katana gen 3

I have a Hotone Pulze, I got it on sale for 33% off, It's pretty good but i found myself wanting more slots for pedals etc. It also fizzes a lot if you have a lot of gain or bass because of the small speakers.
generally you will have a more satisfying experience with a larger speaker and the boss katana amps are the industry standard for modelling amps so id say go for the boss katana, although I don't know why you need 100W if you are also considering the spark 2, you should be fine with the 50
Pulz mini or regular pulz
I have a mini and it can do that but the full size pulz shouldn’t
I have the full size one
What are u doing to it that it is still fizzing
whenever the output level reaches a certain point the speakers start to fizz. You have to keep the gain down a certain amount and increase the volume of the amp instead but it doesn't really solve the lack of available gain
I don't use it much now though, I got a multi fx pedal a while ago and it solved my problems playing through a practice amp with a larger speaker
i personally have a 100w katana gen 3, but if you're not going to play live, i don't see the big need for a 100, you could also get a 50 since its also cheaper and the difference isn't major.
i can't say anything about spark 2, but the only thing i have to say about katana 100 is that it's extremely heavy (obviously), so keep that in mind
spark 2 is horribly bassy and just doesn't sound all that good
I heard you can fix that with the built in eq
not really
not so much that it doesn't sound like shit
the katana is just way better
or the Blackstar IDX
The katana is really that much better?
i really like the katana
no doubt
The app layout sucks ass compared to spark thats one of my problems like what are good amps in the 450$ range
my only gripe with the katana is that BT is not included by default
That's not a problem for me
the Nux Mighty 40 is also pretty nice
what is your usecase/endgoal ?
jamming or recording ?
Jamming
then the Nux Mighty could be a good one
or a modeler like the GP200 combined with a speaker
that;s because it has WAY more features
I think im gonna get the 50w katana gen 3 cause is it worth the money to get the 100w?
100 is only usefull if you gig or if you need an FX loop
So the katana is the best for its price range?
it very good for it's price ... so is the Blackstar ID:X ... or the Nux mighty 40/60
