The tier list goes something like Squier Debut -> Sonic -> Affinity -> Classic Vibe
yeah i know mb i didnt expect somebody to reply so fast i thought the sellers would reply by the time someone saw this
ill js delete this for now
wait i cant delete it
aa
i dont rlly recommend buying an amp though
im not saying u shouldntt, just that itll not be convinient for bedroom practice since its loud and pretty tiring just to set it up
ill just get those ones that use headphones and attach right to it
for an amp get a fender mustang lt 25 or nux mighty 20
If you buy a 2nde hand squire make sure to buy a Japanese one if you can. They are just so qualitative compared to american ones.
Squire is not made in America
There was a brief time in the 80s when they were but they haven’t been for a long time
Dude don’t just look at squiers
Ibanez are great for their color options
And Yamaha are great for playability
So if yahama go for the pacifa 112v
Ye i was talking about old stuff
I thought you would be a vintage lover
Anyway squires made in Japan still are the greatest for this brand
Ibanez are great for other reasons than just colors lol
Is there a reason you’re only looking at Squiers?
Yes but if terms of getting a guitar that isn’t just plain ass colour with a white pick guard, Ibanez are th best
Sure
But it's better to have something playable
You can't play with a plank, may it be colorful
Ibanez GIO’s aren’t the best. And this comes from someone who owns three Ibanez guitars. I’m a fanboy. But i think there are better options. Namely, the Yamaha Pacifica.
I'm building a jem on my own, we'll see what it'll do
Why so ?
I’ve got an rga, best £400 I’ve ever spent
But Pacifica are better
Just look too generic
In the entry-level category, while the Ibanez GIO’s look “cooler” they just don’t compare to the build quality of the Yamaha Pacifica’s in the same price range.
I’m also recommending the Yamaha Pacifica because it looks the same as a Squier Strat which seems to be the shape OP is looking for.
It’s whats most available 2nd hand
Fair
It’s like 99% squiers
I’m biased bc my main criteria for guitars is it has to be a unique color spectrum
Like mine is relic ed gray with white outline and red maple back
Dam
Are there no used Yamaha Pacificas in your area? Even the new ones aren’t that expensive
Squires are not made in America… they were for a few years (1989-1992) I believe, but not since then.
That’s simply not true. They can get what they want, but that doesn’t make it an objectively better instrument.
I've been told ye
Yes, this is true, but you have to begin somewhere
I mean, if you're a newbie you may listen to what experienced people say or you can try by yourself and make your own opinion
I do agree that some guitar are just wood for fire, but some just don't match your playstyle maybe ?
Like the yamaha pacifica might fit you but it wouldn't for me or for some others. Even though I believe you if you say it's a great cheap guitar
Avoid squier bullet or sonic like hell
well idk much about yamaha pacifica
would u recommend that over a squire?
squier, depends of the model
if i were to buy a squire it would be an affinity
When buying used things many people don't tell you if the guitar is 2 years old or from the 80s
Generally speaking I would recommend it over the Squiers besides the Classic Vibe
Mb auto correct
What’s your budget
