Only one of these lists the actual model (the Affinity, which is alright). It's unclear for the rest

#

The tier list goes something like Squier Debut -> Sonic -> Affinity -> Classic Vibe

i dont rlly recommend buying an amp though

for an amp get a fender mustang lt 25 or nux mighty 20

If you buy a 2nde hand squire make sure to buy a Japanese one if you can. They are just so qualitative compared to american ones.

There was a brief time in the 80s when they were but they haven’t been for a long time

Dude don’t just look at squiers

#

Ibanez are great for their color options

#

And Yamaha are great for playability

#

So if yahama go for the pacifa 112v

I thought you would be a vintage lover

#

Anyway squires made in Japan still are the greatest for this brand

Is there a reason you’re only looking at Squiers?

wheat willow
#

Yes but if terms of getting a guitar that isn’t just plain ass colour with a white pick guard, Ibanez are th best

hearty valley
#

Sure

#

But it's better to have something playable

#

You can't play with a plank, may it be colorful

Ibanez GIO’s aren’t the best. And this comes from someone who owns three Ibanez guitars. I’m a fanboy. But i think there are better options. Namely, the Yamaha Pacifica.

I’ve got an rga, best £400 I’ve ever spent

#

But Pacifica are better

#

Just look too generic

steady storm
# hearty valley Why so ?

In the entry-level category, while the Ibanez GIO’s look “cooler” they just don’t compare to the build quality of the Yamaha Pacifica’s in the same price range.

I’m also recommending the Yamaha Pacifica because it looks the same as a Squier Strat which seems to be the shape OP is looking for.

It’s like 99% squiers meow

I’m biased bc my main criteria for guitars is it has to be a unique color spectrum

#

Like mine is relic ed gray with white outline and red maple back

#

You sound quite like a broken vinyl

#

The best guitar is the one he wants

I mean, if you're a newbie you may listen to what experienced people say or you can try by yourself and make your own opinion

#

I do agree that some guitar are just wood for fire, but some just don't match your playstyle maybe ?

#

Like the yamaha pacifica might fit you but it wouldn't for me or for some others. Even though I believe you if you say it's a great cheap guitar

Avoid squier bullet or sonic like hell

latent hare
#

would u recommend that over a squire?

faint wasp
#

squier, depends of the model

squier

#

affinity is the less worst

When buying used things many people don't tell you if the guitar is 2 years old or from the 80s
