1 quality guitar or 2 cheaper ones

currently looking to but either one of these 2 ltd signatures and they are priced at about 1.4k-ish but ive been wondering if its better to buy 2 cheaper guitars instead with my budget

the 2 cheaper guitars are these

how much does it differ between smth like the harley benton and the ltd

first time ever buying a guitar over 300$

i currently have a superstrat

so id have 3 guitar shapes if i went with the second option or i could go with one expensive guitar and have one superstrat and the kh or jh signature

The shapes are different yeah but they're both hard tail double humbuckers, if it was me then I'd look at some HSS superstrat or something as the other one

Unless you need them to fill different roles, stay in different tunings maybe

well if i went with the second option id 100% want the explorer to stay

but if i wanted to get a floyd tose with it it would be a chesp floyd

which is probably not optimal

well anyways one of my questions is how different will the harley benton and the ltd explorer be is it that vast of a difference

Only reason to buy two is of you have 2 totally different ones ... But in general most guitars are pretty versatile, especially with fixed bridges

i feel like im paying 50% of the price for the brand name

and ive heard great stuff anout harley benton but im not sure

i really dont think the 1k$ price gap is worth it but i could be wrong

Personally I’d do 2 guitars but I would get guitars that r more different then the Rhodes and the ex

For example the HB EX and HB max fusion

I do own a guitar in the same price range as the Ltd snakebyte and get just as much enjoyment out of the cheaper guitars I own

I am the type of person that feels different shapes and configs have different vibes so I’d rather have that to just switch guitars and play

But some ppl prefer having 1 nice guitar that they play everything on it really just comes down to how u feel

One of my cheaper guitar is a HB and I would definitely buy more if I had money rn

but I wouldnt buy two cheap hardtail hh guitars
