I am looking for a cheap 7-string, new. The ones I mentioned are the sort of price range I am looking for (INR 20-35k) I am having difficulty in choosing however.
I want the Ibanez but it is stretching my budget, the Schecter seems good, but I don't find it appealing rn, that could change and I can take the Jackson, but I want to look for other brands as I want some guitar brand variety in my band (lead guitarist has a Jackson, I play rhythm).
I would prefer a fixed bridge, and I want versatility despite my main use being metal and hard/alt rock. Suggestions?
I also plan on buying a Boss GT-1 and a Boss Katana Mini. If anyone knows of an amp available in my country with a similar price as that of the Katana Mini with a better tone and bigger boom please feel free to suggest.

For the 7 string I'd check out the Cort 307 and buying a katana mini and a gt1 makes no sense to me, might as well get a katana 50 then
Or buy a nux mighty 20 ... Sort of the same price as the katana mini
I will get a boss gt1, I don't have a processor or an interface
The katana 50 is too expensive for me, i have an amp, it gets the job done but i want to upgrade for tone
I want smth along the price range of the katana mini offering similar tone
By similar tone i mean similar quality of tone
I will check out the cort 307 thanks for the suggest
Do you need output or can you go to a line out/PA? Check Valeton's GP-50
I do a lot of my tone digitally. I did check out the gp50, it's amazing but unfortunately out of my budget. The boss gt1 will be enough for me, it's in my budget too
Alr so i checked out the cort 307, seems well enough, it's just stretching my budget to the same extent as that of the ibanez. I will consider it
Maybe the GP5 then
Ic will check it out
Alr valeton gp5 is actually pretty epic i will take it thanks
Yeah saying because it's on the NeuralDSP tone ballpark and for relatively pennies, the GP5 also has a lot of "Snaptones" already loaded in and they're super solid, it has a tuner and you can even play music/backing tracks from your phone through it using Bluetooth for your headphones practice. For guitars check if you can get the Spira S407 model in your country as another option
