I use a twin on my desktop and wanted something remote
had the extra money so i just got a solo to be consistent bcuz i love their DSP stuff

doesnt really matter, it will probably be somewhere in the manual too, 99.9% of the times you void warranty when opening ANY type of electronics

yes technically they don't want you but for anything except gpus there's no way to verify if you opened it up

and besides that ... it's a new piece of (expensive) gear, it should come in a good state

if i open it up and see that it's perfect i don't send it back and don't waste time, if something is bad then i send it back... regardless takes a minute to check
im not saying to repair it or whatever
