the pickups are cheeks for both im not gonna lie but you have the advantage of a hard tail with the gio

of course gio is gonna be the rock metal choice and az is gonna be the rock jazz whatever

Hard tail doesn't make a difference

And humbuckers are the go to choice for jazz and metal or hard rock

Like just look at any les paul lmao

The pickups on both are pretty good also although i'm on the azes40 side on this one

You can just decide not to put it in there

I decided on getting the azes40 in the end

When i compared the sounds with the alter switch

It really does make it sound fuller like a humbucker

changing strings and changing tunings will still matter cause you have literal springs keeping your bridge in tension

deciding not to use the whammy will not magically make it a hard tail
