It’s ok there r better tho
Also for a budget like that I’d highly recommend the used market
my godfather every year has kinda been giving me and my siblings a pretty good amount of money so im just looking in the low prices range along with the regular near 300

what about this?
Check out the used market
mk
I’d also recommend getting a hard tail guitar as a first guitar
whats that?
U see how both guitars have the bar on them
That is called a trem
A hard tail doesnt have that
U can use a trem guitar without the bar but on butdger stuff the trems are usually cheap and don’t hold tune as well as a hard tail
Also what are u looking to do for an amp
And what types of music r u interested in
I'll start with the music part first
i listen to underground nu metal, songs that use a lot of effects and clean tones which i can really quick give an example of

amp wise something that gives out good crispy distortion if im explaining that right
i know this type of music uses a lot of pedal stuff i believe so thats also another thing i have to account for
Check out headphone amps like the nux mighty plug pro boss katana go or black star beam solo
Also a mini amp like the hotone pulz mini
U need to controll them w ur phone but they will have all the fx n stuff on a budget
so essentially i can get these effects and stuff without the pedals and what not?
will definitely note that
do you have any recommendations incase i want to use the regular way of switching from clean to heavy with my foot?
With the hotone pulz I think there is a way to connect a midi controller foot switch to it
U could also get a boss katana and foot switch for it but that will be like 450$
Consider the squire afinity hss strat as a guitar
It is 310$ new but the pickup config will be pretty versatile
Or the Yamaha Pacifica 012
They aren’t as metal looking but the quality is better
thats what i was kinda fearing
What a less metal looking guitar?
yep
1 sec
try getting a Cort x100
it looks metal , is cheap and plays great
Idk what u think about single cuts but this is an option
I forgot about cort but yea that is also an option
So u liek double cuts
yep
last question for now, will the amp that i can control still produce sounds like the guitarist on the right is making in this clip?
or is that just a pedal thing
It just sound like guitar any of the options I said earlier can sound like that
Do u just like double cuts or do u like the shape of explorers as well
i just like doubles
I’d say get the cort then
alright then
im still gonna look into foot switches since i'd rather not have to stop playing in order to swithc between clean and heavy whereas i can just hit it then go
If u get the hotone pulz mini there is a midi controller that u could buy for 60$ that would allow u do that
