Should I buy these guitars? (Epiphone les paul standard 50s, Yamaha Pacifica 311h)
I have the pacifica and can recommend it. The P90 is nice and it feels way more ergonomic than a les paul.
But the feel is a personal thing, maybe you like a more "substantial" weight
the bocch and the yui?
ill tell u
yui's guitar is fun to play on
kinda
and i have a pacifica as well
both are great guitars
you just mIGHT want to reconsider getting yui's guitar
no
itst the other way around
i have both of the boccher's guitars
i find myself playing the pacifica way more often then the lp
my friend got yui's guitar brand new for 100 cheaper than that
but he got it for a really good deal
my opinion, get something you actually enjoy
i find myself wanting to actually get a mustang
because im disappointed in these two guitars
but sadly
azusa's guitar
is expensive
and the squire version has a completely different fingerboard and headstock
basically just find something u like
instead of buying either one of these
unless you like them after trying them
then go for it ig
Either guitar is good so pick whichever you prefer. The pacifica has slightly fancier specs for the price.
I’d also suggest the Yamaha revstar as well as a balance between both
i see that recommended so much
i looked at it
kinda ugly
like a silly shaped double cut lp
i presume value wise they are amazing?
Stainless steel frets, rosewood fretboard, passive boost, and some pretty good pickups for under £700 here
There’s also Yamaha’s fit and finish
You’re telling me you find this ugly?
Forgot to mention the chambering they did on the body. It helps a lot with the weight.
It’s fairly advanced as far as chambering goes.
well yamaha is a good deal
what kind of music do you wanna play?
do you like have any bands in mind
i think they all use LPs for recording, so if you want to get that sound the epiphone would probably get you closer. the pacifica will probably be more comfortable, and overall has much better qc. can you try the guitars?
well your best bet is definitely to try them, and just see how they feel. a different pacifica model will feel similar, or even another strat model will give you some of the differences in feel. if you're not that confident, you could bring an experienced player with you. as you play more your tastes will change over time as well. i'm sure you know all of the technical differences by now. also, i think you shouldn't worry about the tone too much — both have a bridge humbucker and the other differences can be compensated for with the amp. i recommend the pacifica, but i'm biased cause i have one.
deciding on a guitar based off what was used in recordings is a such a bad metric imo
if you get any les paul or yamaha or whatever that wasn't the model used originally for the song and has different pickups its not gonna sound the same, getting the same shape i understand
its on the cheaper side bro
new is around 480$
It's way more expensive than the price here
yeah used you can get cheaper but the prices were for newer
thomann is 490$ lmao
imo you should almost always get a used yamaha. Their QC and their long lasting guitars always makes it a good choice to buy used
can you link it
also if you buy used its probably gonna have good "qc" cause the person likely fixed the problems anyway
makes me log in bruh
cooked currency
very
493 gajillion
Atleast we got literally half priced Yamahas LMAO
also it makes sense cause its literally made in your country
funny, in singapore its also the western price, so you just get a discount for living there ig
Well it ain't that far off
Can literally see singapore with naked eyes from indonesia
thats what i meant, you would expect them to be the same price because its in the same region and continent but seemingly if its non domestic they just bump it up
i dont think they save that much in dealing with export so they gotta literally just give you the price cause why not
Yeah that's horrible
goes to show if they can make a profit at 250$ the guitar must cost like 150$ to make
the wood is 90% of that cost and the electronics are probably like 10 cents
not complaining if its quality though but the industry clearly puts whatever price they want on them
Definitely
Yamaha is great tho
But that 450 price is legit Bocchi signature Yamaha price
Might aswell get that
Better electronics and quality
i would only have a yamaha if only they made a 24 fret one
Basically a step up
Does revstar not have em?
no, also 22 but even if it did i would want a more traditional body
only ibanez makes "metal" guitars for normal prices and they have too many qc problems
i guess cort also but thats in the same boat
I would say cort is somewhat better tho on QC
i just want a strat style with 2 humbuckers and 24 frets that doesnt have the most appalling dice rolling whenever you unbox it
On the cheaper stuff atleast
if its the same factory its still going to be the same chances
Fair
Yeah, but ibanez really just don't offer same price range as cort tho
More similar to yamaha on their "entry range"
Yamaha would obviously be ten times better than their funny looking strats
wym ibanez has everything from 200$ to the prestige with 100$ jumps or less in between
You can get cheaper with cort
for you maybe, cheapest corts are also 200$ here
Price point in order would be cort-yamaha and ibanez-literally any other famous brand
Oh yeah, probably just for me
and you said price range, cort is the actual limited one here, they have entry models like kx100 and then immediately goes up to like 500$
Damn
Yeah might be the fact that literally all of those company made their guitar here
So, it's dirt cheap
It's a privilege i love
Fender too, hopefully gibson soon
How much?
wdym not much that's 100 bucks differences lmao
yeah but on the yamaha its double
Yeah that's true
how much is a kx300?
Jeez
why dont people just buy them and ship them internationally
even with 100$ shipping you still make a profit
Yeah...
One of my friend bought a lespaul in the US instead of in here
Because it's literally double the price
I hope gibson open up some opportunities here in my country tho
About time people buy gibsons
About 1000 usd Price difference btw
Yeah, they beat them by a long shot.
soo so much more for turks xd
crazy how expensive shit os here
Keep voting for that same clown 🤡
stg
