#What guitar get with 200 eu in EUROPE? or better to save money?

That's absolutely normal for electric guitars. It's a noise you'll have to get used to if you ever want to switch to electric guitars.
For 200 euros I would save more money to get a better guitar.
Like 300ish, it will open you to more possibilities.
I know that because I had the same constrains as you budget wise and wanted like a 200 euros guitar but I couldn't find one that was really on my taste. After increasing my budget I could find more decent options.
what would you get?
I don't have any recommendations anymore. Mine just failed on me.
i'd say 300 will be definitely a great budget to start and find something
What model would you say?
Also, second hand or better fresh from shop?
second hand can be a trap
I am actually thinking to save for 3-4 months and buy for a 800-1000 euro something so I can keep it till my death
you can get a really good instrument for the price, or pay for something that won't play for shit
For now I have an acoustic guitar but its not electric unfortunately
that's a good idea too
That would be the best but for that i gotta grind for 3-4 months
And keep practising on the acoustic
But i will not be able to produce music etc
But it would have good benefits too as I can focus more on practising
a decent squier, ibanez, yamaha or something will serve you well for 300
Or i think i would rather save and buy a guitar till the rest of my life
I want to find a guitar to fell in love with
this gotta be the funniest thread
u tried 8 guitars and expect to find your dream one that also lasts for life and has no noise for 200 euros
thats also a blind buy
also hot take but you might just not like guitar if you don't like any of the ones you tried, usually someone passionate will play the cheapest one and still enjoy it
I had bad experience with yamaha 112v lately and I would recommend taking it only if you try it somewhere and buy it directly. It's a hit or miss.
It's an absolutely good guitar if you get one that doesn't have scratchy pots or finishing damages(doesn't influence playing but maybe you'll not like it idk)
i think thats obvius that i will not find my dream guitar for 200 euro, meanwhile i still need an electric guitar to play in ableton and use effects
If those matter to you, of course. If they don't you can get it without any worries.
i did that for a year but ok
All the 8 guitars I have checked had ground noise which is really really really annoying..
Maybe the guitars didn't were the ones to have the ground issues but the amp was not plugged into a grounded outlet.
Also, if the humming didn't stop when you touch metal stuff that's when you have a grounding issue. If it becomes silent then that means it's not the guitar fault.
That humming is also influenced by lots of other stuff near you like electronics: PC, laptop etc, your guitar is basically a electric giant antenna as many say.
I do not use amp, I use scarlett 2i2, and ableton
the noise did not disappear when I touched the guitar
I was checking that
did you check the cable? maybe it was faulty
Well, I have one jack, which is not the best, but I tried 2 guitars with different cables, the noise was still there
have you tried them with anything other than your scarlett 2i2?
8 guitars having the same issue is crazy.
not unfortunately
yes, and some of them were loud, some of them were not
there was only and ONLY one guitar, which was not really noisy, actually, it had no noise
which guitar was that?
let me send it
a second
@ionic basalt this one
😄
so what did you not like about this?
i am thinking to maybe get this one, but the price is not really negotiable
it had a scratch, and the guy did not mention it in the advertisement, so i was skeptic
but after checking 8 guitars, i started to think to maybe get this one
Fender Squier Affinity Series Telecaster
I actually like this guitar tho
but this one was literally my second guitar I have checked
if not the first one :,,D
looks like the person owning it replaced the neck with one with a lighter fretboard: https://www.thomann.de/ro/fender_sq_affinity_tele_olympic_white.htm
I couldn't find one like the one you have.
I couldn't find one that's like yours
not really, there is a model that's like yours

It was 226 eur brand new tbh
Squier Affinity Series guitars are the best value in electric guitar design. The Affinity Series Telecaster is a solid Squier player. Features include two single-coil pickups with three-way switching, smooth-playing Indian laurel fingerboard with 21 medium jumbo frets, and six-saddle top-load bridge.A superb gateway into the time-honored Fender ...
i did not like that he did not show the scratch on the picture
i would buy this guitar for max 160 eu
where's the scratch?
how does it look
a small bite, on the side, lower part
like a deeper scratch maybe
if i remember good
oh, did it reach the wood like a chip?
but he did not show or mentioned it, thats what i did not like about the guy
a small one yes
yea, maybe just buy it new if you liked it
i was so unhappy when i saw it
or try finding another listing
i have an acoustic guitar actually
and thinking to keep practising now
save some money, and then buy a very good one for christmas
actually, after christmas, around january
I want an electric guitar because I have amplitube 5
and I like to play with effects
with an acoustic guitar I am not able to do it
also, I cannot really record ideas and implement into my music as I produce stuff in ableton
so thats why I really want to have an electric guitar
..
but I am thinking to accept maybe this faith, let it be, and keep practising, and then one day I will have an electric guitar
yeap, don't lose any hope
also, I will try to sell some of my stuff to save some money
I wish I could find a really really cheap apartment rent, or a free to camp at a friends place or idk
rent will take away half of my salary...
I know the feeling, don't lose hope, better times will come to you!
thanks for the kind words
