Looking for something a bit further up the budget a bit ince my first was a pacifica 112j. Maybe either a fender / prs / epiphone

I do both rythm and lead

but for now i do rather slow tempo leads

just playing around with the pentatonic scale

What is ur budget

I’m asuming by having fender and prs on there it is somewhere around $500

There are good options from all 3 brands it just depends what sound u are trying to get

Fender standard strat
Fender standard tele
PRS SE CE 24
PRS SE standard 24-08
Epiphone Les Paul standard
Epiphone SG standard

Pretty much all of them except the PRS SE Ce 24 would be used

U can also find some of the sg standards new for 500

What type of sound are u trying to get

Blues crunch is abit different then hard rock crunch

Like genre of music or bands u like

any guitar that is good with both lead and rythm

U can play lead or rhythm on any guitar

Given u want a trem and punk is all over the place with guitar choice I’d say look for the prs se standard 24-08

The standard 24 is good but if u can find a 24-08 it is better bc the 08 has individual coil split instead of 1 push pull

Amp matters more in this situation

Telecaster is punk

tele is a general option there are also alot of jazz masters and eclipses and LPs in punk

but yea amp is important

fgn odyssey hh or amp, fender, epiphone and so on arent good value unless you find them used

FGN are something I'd stand by - they literally made my Fender

And it's good quality as well

FGN aren't that expensive either
