I'm in love with telecasters at the moment, more than any gimmicky guitars (and I love those kinds of guitars), and all tele's I see online that are used are at least £100. With this, I think I'd feel like I really did it myself rather than just buying another. If anybody has any experience with this or a similar kit, please tell me.
#Is this telecaster worth it?

I can't say I've bought a similar kit, but at that price I would expect very shoddy hardware, electronics and a questionable neck.
As far as the body goes, it's a piece of wood, the only concern is maybe the cavity's aren't cut correctly so you might have to do sanding or shimming.
You will need new strings for sure. Then decide on how you want to finish it and buy the supplies needed. Cheapest option leave the body as is, and use true oil on it.
Well a vendor might be reputable but that isn't to say they don't sell garbage from time to time.
I recommend looking on forums or youtube for "Guitarworks" diy kits
okay
Personally I would trust this vendor more.

Part of this as you alluded to is it is your experience, you are invested more than buying a used one. As mentioned check review first, if you get it, research more, and enjoy the proccess.
dont expect any of these cheap kit guitars to feel or play the best
i mean its 99 dollars anyway so
yes and no
i definitely wouldnt reccomend the thing you pictured
gear4music's own guitars are fucked
