#Boss Artist MK2 or Boss Katana 100 Gen 3?

I'm a "bedroom player" quite beginner leaning towards intermediate level , I made the poor decision of getting a HB-20R as my first amp and it's not quite what I would like , I play a lot of different genres and want a lot of effects and tones so I decided for the BOSS Amps but my question now is...

Should I get a used Artist MK2 ( 300 Euros , has been played like 10-20 times as the seller says) or a brand-new Katana 100 Gen 3 ?

If u want the ability to use a pitch shifter to downtune go w the gen 3 if u don’t care about that the artist has a better speaker

By downtune I mean like ur guitar can be in e standard but it sounds like c# standard coming out of ur amp or any other standard tuning

Both amps have the octive feature

Also the gen 3 can Bluetooth to the app where as the artist mk2 can’t the artist has to be wired to the device w the app

The app will get u way more tones then the knobs on the amp do

Although there is a Bluetooth module u can get for the artist

Pretty much it comes down to the mk3 has more fx and features but the artist has abit better of a speaker

I have a digitech drop so me personally would go w the artist but that’s bc I already have a digitech drop which does the pitch shifting if I did not have that I would get the mk3 bc of the pitch shifting. I do a lot of pitch shifting so. I can’t say one is better for u unless ik if u would use that a lot

i mean i know what it does but i dont think i'll ever use it or need it

The other thing is do u want it to be easy to controll from an app and have access to the tone cloud or do u want it to mostly be knobs on the amp

i would love to only have to do things on my phone lmao but i mostly play while at my desk so i could just plug it into my pc

If u can plug it into ur pc then get the artist

The artist has 4 save slots on it where u can save tones from the app

So u could still use ur 4 favorites when away from ur desk

Then a 600w kustom amp for performing on bass and a fender rumble lt 25 for practice ig bass
