I haven't the budget for a Fender but also heard that Squiers aren't really worth it

I want a tele since I don't really find joy in metal anymore

My current guitar is a Jackson JS12

what is the budget ?

you can play anything on a JS12 that you can play on a tele ... you don't have to play metal on a jackson

I used to be a big thrash fan, now I enjoy blues more

I'm not even digging that hard into overdrive and I mostly play clean

But I guess there's no use to sell this one to get a tele, losing out on value. You actually changed my mind

But I gotta do something to make me enjoy this guitar, it sometimes feels like a drag to play it

I'd keep the guitar and get a tele if you really like how it feels/plays

anything that gives you the will/inspiration to play

Might put a side fund to get one in the future, a real Fender

there's tons of brands doing teles that are better than Fender imho

and brandwhoring is kinda lame
