#I want a new guitar. ESP or Ibanez or Harley Benton or PRS or what?

"At the moment, I’m still playing my first guitar – a Yamaha Pacifica. I’ve been playing it for about four years now, and I thought it might be time to get a new one. I’m not entirely sure yet which brand to go for. These days, I mostly play rock and metal, and occasionally some pop. I’ve also put together a list of guitars that look interesting to me, but I’m not very familiar with their price-to-performance ratio. My budget is around 600 to 700 dollars at most.

Currently Im playing Nirvana, MEtallica songs, etc...

The kh202 bridge isn’t the best
Harley Benton is decent i don’t have experience w the fusion III
My Ibanez experience is w mostly their basses so I won’t talk on that

It really comes down to u figuring out what guitar shapes speak to u then from there u can go further down into what specifically u should get

It is a Floyd rose special it’s not that it’s bad but it isn’t great

Harley Benton is a budget brand

#

There r better options then Harley Benton for Strats and stuff when u have a decent budget but like u can get a decent looking explorer w emgs from them for a fair price if u wanted to

Their hard tail stuff is pretty decent overall

All I got from chat GPT is that ESP is less useful for pop, for example. Is that possible?
But I like the ESP apperance

It is usually one of the first guitars I recommend for ppl w a budget around 500$ when ppl don’t know what they want

These guitars are alöso great for me for metal / rock but not so for pop right?

U can play any genre on any guitar

#

Usually pop is played on Strats and teles so things w single coil

#

I will say black guitars tend hold finger prints more than other colors

because I dont know the advantage of an hardtail bridge

If u keep the same gauge it is the same as changing any through body bridge except u have to tune it afew more times the a hard tail

#

If u change guage up or down 1 u might have to adjust tension slightly but that’s no big deal

The PRs se bridge is the same bridge they use on some of their USA stuff

Take the back plate off and their r 2 screws u loosen them if there is to much tension and tighten if there is to little

#

It is a floating bridge

Like once u know the difference u can feel it but it isn’t big

U could also try 9-46 hybrid pack if u wanted or just put on 9-42 also a 9.5-44 pack

9-46 pack is high 3 strings from a 9-42 and low 3 from 10-46

ahh ok.
Currently on my yamaha pacifia the bridge is not floating. Its
very firmly on the corpus

Yea the bridge on that is down only the prs bridge goes up and down

I tried a floating bridge yesterday but on every Dive Bomb or vibrato etc.. My strings were no longer tuned :c I was lost xD

So depending on how cheap the guitar is there r other parts that cause part of that

Also what u can do after pushing down is pull up slightly and it will help retune it

I dive bomb on my prs often and it is fine
