What do you want/what do you plan on doing?
i want to be able to make my own sounds, but also from other people/online be able to copy/use stuff to be able to sound like specific artists or songs, and i plan on making music but i need to start with the basics so i would need to learn a recording software
So you just want to be able to do everything?
well yeah i guess
Get an amp suite like guitarrig or amplitube (i personally suggest overloud thu, it's highly underrated and leagues better than most programs) and fill the rest of your ampsims/effects and so on up based on need(if you need a pitchshifter i suggest polychrome dsp hypertune, no other pitchshifter comes close), then if you only record guitar you're gonna want a drum and or bass plugin, maybe synths and stuff like that if you plan on making your own music. Also you'll need programs for mixing and mastering, for that purpose there are mixing and mastering suites, but i would suggest looking up what you and then mix and match, as those suites can be expensive as fuck(piracy can help).
The most important thing for a start is probably just a good graphical eq like fabfilter pro-q4
so what i could do is (yes the last phrase) try them all out and use whats more efficient for me
Also for amp plugins get familiar with irs and other companies outside of neural dsp, theyre good but there's other equal or depending on usage better programs out there
Basically
what should i get to connect my guitar to my pc
i cant really arg my way into that one

I'd personally go with a universal audio volt276 if you have that kind of budget and wanna just do guitar stuff (and maybe bass or vocals) at home or a focusrite scarlett solo(3rd or 4th gen) as a budget option. Or just do your own research. Theres plenty of videos comparing interfaces. What I wouldnt do is connect to pc through a pedal or multifx pedal, because they lack functionality and ussually features inherent to interfaces.
alright, and i am going to do alot of research, but for the things that i can try for myself without spending i will do, i think its the best way to know
thanks alot

if you have any other questions about amp plugins or recording stuff just shoot me a dm, im pretty focused on modern metal stuff or mathrock tho.
Also you would prob benefit from having a decent cpu for mixing and mastering and especcially for hosting ampsims and fx that eat cpu
get a pair of Kali LP8's while you're at it
some nice interface like the Motu m2 or m4 .. or something from the Clarret series from Focusrite
also get a nice drum plugin ... like Modern & Massive 2 ... or if you really don't care about price : Superior Drummer 3
i have a gaming pc cost me 2k ill be good, and metal is my focus too
you dont need much just to record songs
cubase, reaper, fl studio, abletone. daw doesnt matter, its up to you
amp sim doesnt matter up to you, i use Nerual DSP Nolly X
you just need an audio interface then studio monitors. considering you have no budget, Motu M2 and Yamaha HS8's or some shit
then its just a matter of trying our random plugins and vsts and libraries or some shit
there's really no roadmap for this, your budget is unlimited, so just do whatever and experiemnt
for drums i use GGD Modern and Massive
for bass, I play a physical bass, but i also have Eurobass 3 from submission audio
your issue isnt that you need a lot of stuff
its just that you arent making music yet / 0 experience
so you dont know what you want / need cus youve never ran into a situation where you needed to consider that before
just focus on getting an interface, monitor, and amp sim first
the rest of shit just follows its own path
