I hear Marshall and boss r good
I don’t think that matters to much. I don’t want one that’s like the size of my wall. I don’t see myself traveling with it, but I to still have room in my room
Because there's a really good portable one I love the spark nini
Get a katana
That's what I said first
Ew spark
But if he wants to travel then no
Bro what?
I have one I hate it
Positive spark plug go
Spark 40
Oh yeah that one is pretty bad
Wouldn’t really use a vox for rock or metal
The higher end ones yeah
Yea I saw that online. What katana do u rec
Classic rock maybe but anything else no
50w mk2 or mk3
Dude have you ever even used one
Like idc about your opinion it's all personal
Is that a starter amp?
I personally love grunge rock, and jazz it works just fine
Not necessarily but yes
Starter amp orange is okay but if you can spend extra get katana
A vox yeah like 2 (tho only count one)
Oh ok. Is it still good in general.
Most people say so
You know what batman, I'm sorry I ever tried to help you, according to red, I know nothing about smos
Oh
I use pedals so I don't need a amp with gain
Bruh
So boss is a better option than Marshall
For budget yes
What’s considered budget
Under 150
id argue like 500
Yeah
Fr
But for more advanced yeah, how long have you played
Yea to 150?
no
It all depends on experience
eh
nothing wrong with a beginner getting nice gear
applying “skill levels” to gear is bad practice
If it's your first time ever playing guitar, don't buy 500 dollar one
Thank you
Gear ≠ skill level
No
Well true just in my experience I haven't been allowed to spend much money on stuff because I'm "new to instruments"
if u can afford a 500 dollar amp as a beginner why not? the whole “u dont know if youll stick to it” doesnt matter if better gear helps people stick to the instruments
But he's talking about a guitar under 200
So I feel like he should get a better guitar than 200 before an amp around 500
Or under 500
Yea so if I want to spend under 550. Can I get something good for that price? I’m ok with buying used. Is buying used amps ok?
@vapid plover what’s your budget
This
Yes buying used is fine and you can get a used Marshall dsl combo around that price that be nice
You know what nvm maybe I need to learn too 😁😁
Ok
Is that good for a room. I’m not trying to kill my ear drums.
Is a good guitar or good amp more important if I had to pick kne
And I'm sorry for thinking I knew more than y'all.
I’m new and I say amp
I’ve been playing my PRS se custom 24 on a fender 10g I found in my basement and it sounds goofy
There’s also this guy
Amp is more important for sound
I’d say go w the katana
I'm trying to do street gigs though
Yeah can be
It can do that
Is it batterie?
