Hey, i've been playing on a pretty terrible knockoff strat, and have been already looking for a new guitar to get, to just be comfortable and happy with what im playing. I've been searching for a while, and can't settle upon getting either a Fender Stratocaster standard (£500) and turning it into a Vandalism strat replica, or getting one not for looks but just for function and getting the PRS SE CE Standard 24, which i've heard is really well built and has great parts but doesn't really look good, Any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like you've chosen already. The strat inspires you while the PRS doesn't.
I think this lots of times then in 2 weeks I come up with something else, I'm really indecisive
I cannot comment because this is for you to decide
if ur indecisive we cant convince u either
but theres a clear answer to me
the fender makes u wanna play it. the prs doesnt
simple as that
That was a bit of a stretch to be fair, what I mean is I always consider other options
whatever the option
if its between “looks better” and “looks worse” regardless of how u feel the quality is, choose what looks better to you
no point in a guitars parts being good if u dont even really like it
Yep. Inspiration is what makes you want to pick it up and play it. more important than anything
