#Schecter SGR Solo-II or Jackson Dinky JS22-7 (7 string)

tone is in the amp
pickups change almost nothing
so play both and pick the one you think feels better
they give quite some change but not a priority
i would do sch solo2 because better build quality
so you want a 6 or a 7 string ?
and what is your actual budget ?
7 string is usually unecessary I heard it has better tone tho
theyre the same price
like 400$
is my budget
ok ill check both
Its a completely different beast ... Better tone is super vague
If you only want 6 strings ... Get a 6 string
what
how
its literally just a 7th string on a regular 6 string
if you dont need a 7 string, don't get a 7 string
there isn't better tone magically just cus there's just an extra string there
For your budget @wraith karma I'd get an ltd 200dx
I usually play drop B but isnt a 7 string still kinda unecessary
im talking about the humbs
I heard dinky has better humbs
its not 200 dude
ive owned two js22-7s
and?
and so i think i'd know that they're like 200 bucks each
actually even cheaper on some sites
just get the schecter
I'd spend a bit more and get an RG421
nothing that cant be done with a 7 band eq
when talking about going from decent humbucker to decent humbucker
it literally does not matter
the differences are minor and are stuff you can replicate easily with your amp / pedal settings
theres a lot of snake oil in the pickup market
the height and location of the pickup change more than the actually pickup does in most cases
as long as the pickups are decent of course. bad pickups will sound bad
and you can't really eq frequencies that aren't there
of course this gets less true the lower gain you go. low gain tones the pickups probably matter a bit more I would imagine
hold on wait what a js227 is def not 400 usd or cad or aud
what dollar is this
