i dont see anything about it being isolated but if it is isolated it will make a difference
if you already have a blanc pedal board
just buy a isolated power supply
check this one out
Mooer Micro Power Isolated 9V DC Pedal Board Power Supply
alright thx
Donner isn’t isolated
Unfortunately, the mooer psu isn’t isolated either
Mostly, the clone pedal companies yoink the oem of this one psu from this one factory and brand it under their name
Some dude tested if they were isolated, and he says no
So
The pedal power supply that is isolated and that is considered to be budget is one spot
The Truetone 1 Spot Pro CS7 pedalboard power brick can power virtually any combination of guitar effects pedals you can imagine. Now I know what you’re saying
“$130 is budget???”
But the thing is, not only will this last you for an incredibly long time, but it’s so universally applicable that it’s worth splurging on.
And comparing it to THE brand name power supplies of Voodoo Power and Cioks, they’re genuinely like half the price
And we got the boutique ones that sometimes goes on sale like walrus canvas
But even ignoring that, if there’s notion of “never cheap out on the power supply” has been practiced by computer geeks, it’s totally applicable to this situation
