Looking for a bass amp. Head and cab, no combos. Realistically I would like a jack of all trades amp that can play any style as I am primarily a guitar player. I would consider 2 amps for 2 distinct purposes if required. Don't worry about budget too much, I want top of the line equipment that I will never really feel the need to upgrade. Ask any questions you need to know in the thread, not sure what to provide in this case. When I've played in the past I've either used a supplied amp or plugged into the PA.

I dont really know myself on the bass like I do on guitar. But if I had to corner myself in to something now id say I want nice smooth cleans with the possibility of a bit of gain when I want to venture into a dirtier tone and that can be done with the amp or with a pedal, doesnt matter to me

I do like the aggressive sounds on the darkglass but I feel like the cleans are missing a certain, something. Smoothness perhaps. Im going to listen to a few more amps and see if im chasing something that isnt real. Lol.
The Aguilar tone Hammer 700 sounds very nice
