im stuck in a dilemma whether i should get a epiphone custom in white and gold or a vox vt40+
my current rig is a iron label ibanez with a marshall dsl5cr
The Vox vt40 is okay but theres better amps for that price used or if you add a bit much better new amps (and also the type of power socket on the amp sucks ass). Id suggest taking a look at the bugera v22 and amps around that price new or just see what used gear you can find. Especcially used some great amps go for around the price of a new vox.
Also, I'd upgrade amp before guitar, an ibanez iron label is not a guitar that needs upgrading.
if i were to get something like a boss gx10 would it help
the marshall is nice but it only has a 2 channels
2 channels or not is not really that important, i think having two good channels instead of 10 mediocre models is actually better.
Also the marshall is a 5 watt with an 8"and you're just not gonna get good loudness out of thatz
Boss gx10 or smthng similar is definitly cool, but the amp is what makes or breaks it
i use the amps at my gigs so its not really a problem
its a practice amp
i just want to have more tones
phaser delay reverb harmonizer..
