Yeah, I'll second the Katana. Definitely a better choice overall.
Odin are you referring to the smaller 50 over the artist?
Yes. it's pretty much unbeatable for the price for most players.
There's more versatily and portability in the Katana. Also, you can get great "tube-like" warm overdrive and distortion sounds at a much lower volume.
If I remember correctly, it also has a built in tuner and other little additions.
So between those two, under most circumstances, I'd choose the Katana any day.
i mean i‘d choose the Vox, cuz i‘m a fan of british vintage, but i‘m not sure whats a better deal
Thank you for the advice all! Still happy to see more input!
The vox name brand is what's appealing to me, it preserves value relatively well too. However from my understanding the sonic characteristics of it aren't exactly catered towards the overly warm sounds I'm trying to make. I could be wrong
I got access to celestions and peerless woofers galore
same bro, same. Well i suppose it has the typical „Vox chime“, but it should actually do some warmer stuff if its a tube amp and if u crank it up a lil
I also have access to so many frickin tubes. Got Russian military radio tubes
