I need help, originally i was considering the PRS DGT SE. But then thought, it's too much for my use case as a bedroom guitarist. Then I am considering the Sire J5, Sire S7, or Ibanez AZ24S1F-TXB. And they're also half the cost of the prs dgt se

I play any genre, really enjoying jazzy r and b style right now. I enjoy distortion too but not on a metal level. Japanese rock, math rock, yvette young style, these are the things I'm working up to. I own a telecaster but i miss having a tremolo, which of these guitars might be best suited for my choice of playing/goals?

I mean if u want the prs se get the prs se I had one as a bedroom guitarist then I started gigging and I still use it

PRS SE CE 24 start at $499 if you want a PRS at lower price and has coil split for single coil-esque tones

The PRS SE pickups actually do fully split it isn’t coil tapping it does single coil tones pretty well

Unless u get the McCarty or any of the se models w pickup cover then it does single coil esque tones but not as well as the uncovered which fully split

One of my main guitars is the se custom 24 which is the slightly nicer version of those

The differences are mostly cosmetic

#

Over time if u get like $75 and feel like an upgrade if u buy one of those the prs se locking tuners are a really nice upgrade to it

It's sad, the cheapest PRS SE CE 24 I can get to ship on my place is about 800 usd whereas the Sire J5 costs only about 650 usd
