bit too much bass i think ... sounds a bit woofy. why does it sound like it's recorded through a cab with a mic ? iirc, the Gojira sounds quite different

im gonna lower some of the bas frequencys on the eq and turn it down on the amp a little and see

what I do is just chug super hard on the open low string and adjust the input gain until it clips (runs in the red) ... then I back it off slightly

in reaper you should hit about -6 to -3 dB on the input

then in yhour plugin you can adjust the input gain till it sounds right

I quickly tried to Gojira and I notice that it's a lot more shrill and scratchy than the Plini
