I have the ability to get a new guitar (preferably with a whammy bar) right now. I currently have a Gibson Les Paul Studio and a Fender Player II Stratocaster, I'd like to have a balanced setup between jazz, blues, goth, rock, and metal. What should I look into specifically?

Idk I can recommend the prs se custom 24-08 if u want something super versatile w a floating trem

#

Would recommend se locking tuners as an upgrade for it but it isn’t essential

That is if u look are looking at the custom 24-08

#

If u look at the McCarty 594 single cut it is essentially just a LP but made by prs

#

When using the trem it stays in tune pretty well

#

I do have the se locking tuners on mine but I can treat it a lot like a Floyd rose and I don’t have problems + I can change tunings bc it doesn’t have a locking nut although mostly I switch between drop d and standard and use a digitech drop for everything else bc I don’t usually play in wierd tunings

#

I would post sound clips but I put emgs in mine so

So what sounds does it work best with in your opinion>

Blues and rock is what it does best but it also does jazz and metal pretty well in its stock config

namy metal content creators love them, you see them a lot in jazz, they can do anything you want with the right amp
