I have 2001 PRS CE24 that had its pickups changed before I bought it. I believe the pickups in it are Gibson 490r in the bridge and 490t in the neck (i can't reverse it because the legs are too long). I have been thinking of swapping them out for Fishman fluence pickups but not sure which one is best or if I should change at all. Which pickups would cover primarily Nu-metal (Linkin Park), Metal, Hard Rock, Pop-Punk (Paramore, FOB), and Prog Rock, but still let me do good R&B, Pop, and Blues (think John mayer) when needed?

I mean fishmans can do all that (really any pickup can)
every one of those you can get from the basic fluence moderns
In that case, do you feel its best to keep the ones I have. I'm only thinking of switching because the pickups in it are incorrect anyway so I figured why not get more clarity. It messes with my mind sometimes
So you feel the moderns fit that the best? The moderns always seemed interesting anyway, but wasn't sure if the Tim Henson / Classic / Open Core Classic were better.
tim henson neck gets extra credit for the nylon sim
but th set bridge eh kinda mid for me
"average pickup 101"
if you want like THE best versatilty id just get a timhenson neck and a modern/tosin bridge
but thats extra money
open core classic and classic is the same thing that looks a bit diff
and i do not like classic but if you find the voices more interesting than modern then go ahead
Thanks for this, how do you feel about the KSE and abasi pickups?
