#How to Get Solo type of tone

basic high gain amp with a boost and some reverb and/or delay
try dialing back the mids and bass a bit ... don't push the trble too much
Boost is some sort of tube screamer without any drive and the level cranked by the way
Which high gain amp?
Does this work for the drive
exactly that... tone to taste
For the knobs how much for them ?
Wait
Ima try
I can't find the 5150 and jcm800??
There's only a slo100
I have no idea for the eq and gain
try : gain at noon, bass at 11 , mids at 10, treble at 1
it MUST have a JCM800 type amp ... some Marshal at least
I searched and it said the be101
I tried it
And it doesn't rlly sound that alike
needs some delay
Which delay?
the vintage would work
to taste
Oh and also which pick up should I use? It's hss
experiment a little ... play a bit ... dial something back ... try again
doesn;t really matter ... some like the neck because it sounds fuller ... bridge will have more bite
as I said : go experiment
Okk I'll try first
and post some clips now and then
Ok but like
The song
The guitar sounds like more
Longer? The guitar notes
Mine just ends fast
that;s the decay ... either on the reverb or the delay
also try switching the reverb and delay .. sometimes it gives a different effect delay into reverb vs reverb into delay
So I either experiment with delay or with reverb? And not both together
together usually
There's no decay option in both delay and reverb pedals
you can enable / disable them too right ... see what you like best
i usually use both
So which do I need to tone?
Also is it normal whenever I hit a note it will have a "tak" sound
It's like the sound of picking the strings
i have to hear it to know what you mean exactly
If u listen properly whenever a string is picked there's a sound after
I tried turning off reverb and delay and it's still there
that is basically just pickattack ... try picking softer
I tried my best to be very soft
And there's still the sound
It's only on tones with drives
The clean tones does not have this
Whatever sounds good
Eq I already explained... Cut some bass and mids .. add some treble
Ok I'll try later
Ok I was afraid it was my amp problem
can also happen when you mute the string too much ... you get that clack
i love the sound of the pick
Mute the string as in?
Fr?
Have your palm resting on it
yeah sounds great if yuou play it well
Ok
Yo I tried my best and tested every settings (the eq reverb and delay) but I still couldn't just get that tone like that cool ( more longer in the notes and like more drive?) mine just still sounds plain and just hitting a normal note it doesn't have that cool solo tone in it
Why not ask the AI thingy to make or search one ?
Share images of your preset ... Can't be right
What should I write for it?
Wait
Lead tone
@shrewd ingot
you don't really need the drive on the tubescreamer
it does sound like a lead tone ... just a very shrill one
quick tip : vibrato comes from the wrist, not the finger
I also don't get why your pick attack is so loud ... with a similar setup I get something like this
Howw
That's exactly the tone I want
Could it be the amp problem
But I saw on yt there's ppl also making tones like urs on the spark amp
And those presets are downloadable via the cloud ... Try that first ... Must be something you did differently... Try another amp , another reverb/delay .
And with amp I mean amp model
I'll try
I still can't get rid of the pick attack
It's so annoying
What kind of guitar is it ? Isn't it just because your cranking the spark ?
Squier sonic strat hss
Not rlly
It happens when low volume too
And when I wear headphones
How do you get the holy diver solo tone
You should make your own topic for this
Yo bro it sounds like this for now
But the when u press on a note it still doesn't have that much distortion in it
I changed the amp , reverb and delay already
This is the closest to it
But the note just doesn't have a lot of drive in it
I cranked all the gain and all the drive in the pedal to the highest
That's already a big improvement...now learn to play something with feel
Feel as in?
Feel in playing ... It's not all about just playing notes in order ...it's about how you play fhem
