As in like for My Hero by Foo Fighters and similar songs/genre. I’ve tried but I can’t really nail it. I would like to hopefully use my DS-1 for it but I have a BD-2 if it would work. I can provide examples If it would help

#

I feel like monkey wrench would’ve been a better example but like the rhythm distorted chords i can’t get to sound tonally clean either too twangy or “foggy”

Does it have a Marshal kind of amp ?

#

That with an overdrive and not too much gain will get you close I think

Yeah but it’s tiny 10 watt doesn’t even have treble/mids/bass knobs

#

I have Marshall sounding presets on my amp though

Lets take a look and see how close I can get to recreating the guitar tone from the Foo Fighters' debut album!

The people at BOSS challenged me to get some classic guitar tones out of a Katana amp in around 60 seconds.... Today we're dialling in a Dave Grohl inspired sound from the band Foo Fighters. Here I'm using a Katana 50 but this will also work for any Katana Model (50, 100, 100/212, Head) straight out of the box.

The amp is simply mic’d with 1 S...
