Squier Strat or Tele for punk music

I know with punk music it doesn’t really matter what you play on but I’m considering buying a squier and I’m not sure whether a Stratocaster or a telecaster would be more fitting. I’m looking to play more lo fi music within genres like shoegaze and egg punk. Is there any advice yall can offer when looking?

I’m planning on buying secondhand so it is kinda a situation of what I can find but I’ll make sure to keep an eye out for a Tele specifically

You looked up what sort of pickups/guitars the punk artists you listen to use?

I bought a pacifica but ended up just using the humbucker almost exclusively so it's a good idea

looking at a H-H now

I know sex pistols used double humbuckers

also telecasters

What more bang does donner have and I heard the opposite for the qc

A pacifica in the same price range will do you a lot better

try get a 112v with the splittable humbucker

always nice to have the versatility
