70's models are where you see the 3 bolt neck join - also larger headstocks. what do you consider "good"
the feeling of the Guitar and the tones, cause i havent tried em
im looking for a smooth neck, and warm sound
not as warm as the Gibson tho
you're comparing apples and oranges if you mean fender single coil vs gibson buckers. Play these in person through amps and see what you like. It's a $1k fender, it's a good guitar.
also you need to play a 7.5" fretboard radius to see how that feels. It's different and I don't know what kind of music you want to play. but shreddy on a 7.5", good luck
you're right, im not much of an expert and id like to upgrade my squire affinity Guitar with a 1000/1200$ budget
the vintera 2 seemed the best for that budget
i mean im still kinda a beginner but i wanted something to improve my gear but staying in the fender brand
any reason not to look at the used market? are you looking at strat or tele or other?
strat
cause i live in italy and the second hand market is not so lively
otherwise id have no problem in that
ah that is a consideration. market here is flooded.
what's a pro2 strat go for there?
2100€
maybe look at the player2, it's $800. they'll be more like the pro2 than the vintera, which is like the made in mexico version of american vintage
many people honk the squire classic vibe but I've never played one so can't speak to it
i was looking for it instead
i wanted to see at alternatives before going for it
Vintera looks like more $$$ just because of vintage specs and marketing. Just depends what you want, but do try a 7.5" radius before committing if possible
oke thanks
besides the radius difference, would you say the specs of the vintera 2 are better than the player 2?
not better just different, more like preference imo
I like the pro2 neck which is more modern than the vintage one but they are both fine
fender knows how to market
oke the thing is in italy there are rly j a few guitar shops
now that im in America ill try different guitars
thanks for the help
oh ok thought you were in italy, no problem
sounds like a guitar carry-on bag is in order
lol try living here
will keep going that way too
