you can buy replicas of his guitar
people make those
if youre in china i remember seeing a guy make a batch of those (90% accuracy replica) for like 700 usd per
if youre not try those secondhand platforms or reverb
but as far as i know no brand makes this specific design
this part here
Thank you i will look into it
this looks cursed .. especially as a first guitar, buy something that plays well
the bridge looks a bit like the one on my NK ... but at that angle it probably won't even work
that headless bridge design is purely there to hold the strings
actual angle is held by the weird TOM + tailpiece
it works as a design just a look-over-functionality one
for some reason the replicas of this that ive played feels quite ok to play on
weird bridge doesnt make it feel bad
nor is it inconvenient for tuning
Still would not recommend anything like this for a first guitar, simple hardtail would be my recommendation
those tune like any simple hardtail
by any chance do you know where to get these replicas? all i see is 1/6 of his guitar, where can i find the real thing
some people make those and sells them on the cn platforms (this ones on xianyu and 3k cny is 450 usd)
non cn platforms idk
im gon check on reverb tho one sec
nope none on reverb
if you insist on the look you can take a hacksaw/router and remove a part of a normal guitar
not accurate representation of guitar but you get the idea
add some stickers and chisel+metal plate for the worn look
those for the pickup looks exist
and a few more details here n there
thanks man i appreciate it ill probably get a replica for now, will try doing the hacksaw method later in my guitar journey 😂
✅
Dont the replicas suck like idk but for a first guitar wouldnt u be beter of just buying a regular good guitar also samurai music sucks anyway lol
I wouldnt know but cmon man, you cant tell me never fade away and ballad of the buck reavers aint bangers
I mean the game is awsome but the music aint it bro 😭
I wouldnt buy the replica if u actually want to play guitar
Why not i doubt its plays any different than a normal guitar?
Lol
I dont know thr replica maker so yes maybe he really know his stuff and the guitar isnt half bad at all
U would probably still be overpaying for the specs
So in my opinion if want to play guitar buy a better guitar for that money
Ill probably do that then
And then get someone to customize it into johnnys for me lol
But as a first guitar it will just be inconvenient and be way less then u could have
But i do admit having a johhny silverhand guitar is awsome
Sometimes you have to make sacrifices to achieve your goals
Ye but for ur first guitar id not make a sacrifice
But i know nothing about the replica if u can find some info on it maybe it is actually a decent one
But again however big of a cyberpunk fan i am i aint buying such an impractical guitar as my first one
Ill see, ill probably stick with the idea of buying a normal guitar and sawing jt into the shape
Even if it is impractical
As long as i can play
Im gucci
Ye just do what you want lol im just some random guy il never speak to again probably if u really want it who cares what i have to say lol
Haha good point, i ill get it a normal guitar and customize it 👍
That is my final decision
Alright
If u end up getting it done and remember me wish u wont send me a pick i think its an awsome idea
👍
functionality wise its not any different than a normal guitar
Wouldnt u get a better guitar at this prise tho
yeah thats for sure because the extra labor work is money
if done properly its theorectically even better than a normal hardtail
But ion understand how the headless bridge works on it
the headless bridge holds the ball end
and the strings go through a normal TOM
with a tailpiece to correct the weird break angle
Damn its pretty cool actually
not more convenient than a normal guitar
but also not worse
if hes got the budget and the means to get one why not
Ye but worse hardware i suppose
most replica makers for those use low end hardware but theyre still standard parts
can always put a same size kahler on there and etc
True that
Well considering he said he would get one custom made for him i think he dont really got a budget
or he doesnt know the costs of customing.
Well he did not even seem uncomfortable with cutting a piece out of his guitar with a hecksaw
There was some luthier that showed up in the VC here few months ago, said he could do that exact build, fully custom
@iron folio Did he ever end up making your custom strandberg clone for ya? He was the same guy right?
