Pedals

• Apply DS-1 distortion, level to whatever you want, tone to around 9'o clock - 7'o clock, distortion to the max.
• Apply any Tube Compressor to whatever you want.
• Apply a Noise Gate (optional).
• Apply a step slicer to 1/16.
• Apply a Pre-EQ (optional).

Amp

• Treble (on amp) to 1'o clock.
• Middle (on amp) to 1'o clock.
• Bass (on amp) to max.
• Gain (on amp) to 10'o clock.
• Presence (on amp) to 1'o clock.

Guitar

• Treble (on guitar) to 0.
• Middle (on guitar) to max.
• Volume (on guitar) to max. (for distortion)

That's a lot of gain! Still okay for some subgenres, but for deathcore probably a bit too saturated? The chugs should be coming through more clearly and not as granulated, if that makes sense

I'd get that by dialing back the gain on the DS-1 for sure, that's super hot

What guitar are you running that has a Mid and Treb knob? I'm curious
