#max £275 Budget amp for recording

if no the only way is modeler amps with connection recording
and what amp do you have now
yeah, i have a sound card, and i have a shure sm57, the amp i have now is some like horrific, awful-sounding off brand amp that i got from a friend hence why I want a new one haha
hm then its solidstate and hybrid vs modeler
2 solutions currently come up:
one is getting the average modeler amp (boss ktn 50 g3 or line6 catalyst 100) and micing it (or using their built in usb recording for other mic types)
two is getting an old tube amp head for cheaper and save up a bit more for a cabinet
old peavey/randall/crate heads go for 150-300 cad here check your local marketplace
and a bit more for a secondhand 1x10/1x12 speaker cab
alright, thanks for the help, think i'll look at the boss katana solution
