It's imposible to answer this for you. Only you know that. What are you trying to achieve? Do you need another guitar? If you don't, don't buy it. Specially if you don't even have an idea of what appeals to you. There are a zilion different types of guitars within your budget
Think about why you are asking this question in the first place
I was thinking of getting something like tim hensons signature
I don't even know who Tim Hensons is. I just recommend you get a Made in Japan instrument over another Asian or mexican. If you get one.
Yes they can. FGN Odyssey or Iliad are around 500.
Both made in Japan.
But don't listen to me, go to a store and try them.
Get a Squier.
Or save. Or don't get anything. It's obvious you don't need it.
It doesn't really matter where it is made
The question is if you even want a new guitar lol and if so, what shape or what does it need to be able to do. But yeah looks like you're fine with the one you have, for now
when your budget is 500?
I thought of a cheaper version
Maybe but a new one would still be nice
My guitar had problems with electronics
We fixed it with melding like 2 years ago
But i wont have money for a guitar in the future
Understandable and 400-500 is fine as a budget
So tim henson has this special classical guitar, do you mean that? Or the electric guitar that looks like an Ibanez AZ series?
Well to be honest i cant decide
Maybe i should get the regular electric which looks like the ibanez
Ibanez has many cheaper models that are still nice, idk which ones are recommendable though
I guess the general shape you can search for is "superstrat"
Idk tho if there are any good under 450 that arent for beginners
what makes a guitar for beginners to you
The reviews saying "good for a beginner guitar"
the reviewing being there or not entirely depends on the price then
so that's not a good metric for whats beginner or not
to me there isn't such thing as a beginner guitar
only good guitars, or bad guitars
we don't really know waht you specifically want out of a guitar
so suggesting something isn't easy
I mean i want everything, i want to play really complex things so having a good clear noise and a good crunched noise is essential
ur noise is dependent on what amp u have
and u cant “want everything”
wanting everything in this context implies u also dont know everything
so u actually dont want everything, u just want everything you want to play, not everything there is to play
so try to be more specific
Yeah as you can tell im not an expert in guitars😅
cus hypothetically if u want to play literally as much things as possible across the widest tuning range available
id suggest u buy an 8 string with a floyd rose and a d-tuna
which u probably arent going to want
genres
tunings
bridge type requirement
pickup preferences
etc
that type of shit
Math rock and like very fast japanese rock or pop but mostly in standard tuning
Idk anything about bridge types or pickup preferences
what country are you in
Hungary
so some strat or tele stuff
the good ol basics
I wanna order tho

Its 650 usd
you can find it for around 450 to 500 in many shops
this isn’t an ST-20
Nevermind i dont wanna have the same type of guitar
You know what i mean
its literally like 5 times the cost of one lol
I noticed but .
Btw
I talked with my parents and since ive been doing it for so long they are willing to give me 200-250 so my new budget will be 700
I saw that there is already a post for that
Played some FGNs in Japan, love them
I wish I had a way to buy one of their custom shops from Japan. They are absolutely fire but for some reason they are sold only in Japan. Even at gas stations!
