To do anything faster, you need to slow it down. Speed is a result of repetition over time.
So to get a solo like this down, you need to slow it way down to - let's say 40 Bpm - and then gradually speed up once you can play it 3 times flawlessly at that speed.
Bump up the BPS by 10 and get it down at the new speed... rinse and repeat....

I just heard holstein give good advice. break down the licks into small pieces and practice speeding those up one at a time.

no matter how hard i tap it sounds the same
