its basically a virtual amp

you just plug your guitar into your computer via interface

#

stuff like nam requires you to download your own cabs and stuff

#

while tonocracy has some installed previously

#

youd basically drag and drop the ir file into the modeler and put an amp behind it and it shoudl sound good

heres a little signal chain preset i dialed in

havent tried it on my electric yet as im traveling but it should be decent

tonocracy also supports NAM files so if you want you can go to tonehub.com and download cab irs and stuff from there

id suggest watching a few videos on it if you think about going down that route
