Its up to personal preference based on which you find: 1. most comfortable, 2. best sounding, 3. best looking

if i were you i'd probably go with an HSS strat-type guitar for the tonal variety, because even though humbuckers are the norm for rock and metal today, single coils have a significant track record in rock of the past as well as grunge

unless you really prefer the look and feel of the SG or les paul
