I want a cheap acoustic guitar, but electric guitars are waaaaay more comfortable for me. Also, my budget is tight, so I can't afford something, like a Fender. Would you recommend that cheap Harley Benton?
I thinked about this one:

I mean not many other options
What is uncomfortable about an acoustic for you? Body size, string tension, something else?
Just want to consider if there might be other solutions to your problem
- This might be just as bulky, and if not it’s not gonna sound as good 2. It might just be a skill issue and you might need to get used to playing acoustic guitars
That’s my thoughts I’m not trying to be rude
You have no other option
The neck just feels different. I've started on an acoustic, and I hated it. Tried several guitars, but it did not was comfortable. My parents later got me an electric one, and it was comfortable. Now I only play electric, but I want to record some acoustic song, so I need an electro-acoustic one.
every guitar has a different neck, it’s not really acoustic vs electric
brands like Martin do have odd shaped necks if you’re used to thin C electrics, but some brands also have the V neck on electrics
But now I use a Harley Benton electric guitar, and I like the neck
So I think that neck would be comfortable for me
neck profile can still be very different in the same brand
For my guitar it's a modern c
Wait
And this acoustic one is a modern d
you might like it, you might hate it
you never know til you try, every guitar is different
Should I try another guitar with a modern d to decide if that's comfortable for me?
if it’s a Harley Benton it’ll likely be similar, but every brands ‘modern d’ can be different
Ohh, I get it
Do you know which acoustic you tried? We can compare various measurements with the electric guitar that you know you like to see exactly what you didn't like
Like usually acoustic necks are wider than electric for example
classical necks being the widest
I am just doubtful that a weird acoustic is going to be the best way to deal with the issue
Uhm
I've tried an old Framus (70's), one old Hungarian guitar from Szeged (60's), one from Leningrad (60's), a Squier, and two Harley Bentons
I don't know the exact modells, exept the Squier. It's an SA-105.
The Szegedi and the one from Leningrad were classicals
Other ones had steel strings
And you don't like the neck on any of them?
I did not
I'm trying to find the specifications for the sa-105
They all were u comfortable
And what electric guitar do you have that you like
Harley Benton TE-20HH
classicals have flat necks, with what’s known as an infinite radius. this means as opposed to being a C, D, U or whatever, it’s quite literally a flat radius
Yeah I'm not surprised the classicals felt weird
I think the letter shapes have to do with the back of the neck though
Whereas the radius describes the fretboard
back of the neck of a classical is typically flat, or slightly biased towards the bass side as far as I’m aware
radius is referring to the fingerboard here yes, original comment didn’t separate the two
