I like Jazzmasters so I’d go with that, but teles are great too, if you’re going to buy them tomorrow and if able, try to see if you can play them both and see which one speaks to you more

Jazzmasters have a tremolo arm which is nice which teles don’t have but also that means there’s more moving parts

What are the sound differences between them

While tele dosent have a tremolo arm it just means its very simple and dosent have much things to set up when setting it up as much as a Jazzmaster

Yeah it can be, I have very minimal experience with a telecaster so I can’t say much on how it sounds but yes some have had issues with the telecaster’s body
