#Which guitar is better?

Quality the rrt sound subjective cause passive or active, tho the rrx by default has better tuning stability
You know that i already have the RRX24 but if i want im able to replace it with the rrt3
and
it kind of bothers me that im only able to play metal with it and kind of stuck to one tuning
and its better quality and i like the normal headstock more
You aren’t only able to play metal you can anything
Also I wouldn’t recommend Jackson hardtail with the 6 in line
Bs
Negative tuning stability
i mean the tuning stability on this guitar isnt the best either
It’s better than hard tail Jackson
ive never heard anyone complain about it. how easily does it go out of tune
@elfin spruce get in here with your rhoads stories
Mine used to go out of tune mid song
so i should keep the rrx24?
Only stopped when I finally did something about this god-awful headstock
Replace the Floyd and then go to go
is it something that locking tuners would fix
No cause that’s not what they do
what causes it to go out of tune
Yeah but has nothing to do with bad tuners
Dog, it's had locking tuners on it since I got it working
ok, but if you have locking tuners and barely have the string go around the peg, there wouldnt be anything to move around
Besides, locking tuners do nothing for stability unless you suck at winding strings
The problem here isn't the amount of string from the tuner to the nut
POV me
how come other guitars with hard tail bridge arent known for going out of tune
why jackson
the angle from the nut to the peg
Now look at Jackson
the angle between from the bridge to the nut, and from the nut to the peg?
Even with the strings wound backwards, the strings still sit at a very harsh angle from the nut to the tuner
This causes the strings to bind in the slots, causing instability
A locking nut completely negates that, which is why Jackson was able to get away with a functionally bad headstock design
ok imagine if the rrt also had a floyd special, which one would be better then
kinda obvious
Exactly
if both have a special
There's nothing you can do outside of redneck bullshit to help a hardtail Jackson
too expensive
Don't you already have the RRX?
It’s 200 more than the rr3ht
@elfin spruce
Just put a Gotoh GE1996T on your RRX then
too modern
And like the Jackson ain’t
what if i also like the rrt3 more
idk white with black pinstripes and goldhardware is pretty classy
Are you really gonna go and do this
no
So don't get the rr3t
Here’s not modern for you
Get the rr3
1958 Gibson Flying V
Teensy bit crusty
i could not hate a guitar more
tuning stability. RRT-3 vs some random gibson les paul
or sg
whatever
Jackson worse
a what
i googled it and hell no
I thought about getting one of my Ltd but it doesn’t need it
@elfin spruce with no locking nut, would a reversed jackson headstock stay in tune better than a normal
Hell no
It just shifts the problem to the bass side instead
It's the exact same angles as a non reverse
dont wounded strings stay in tune better
Because Randy rhoads
Cause it's a Randy sig from a big name
I played a Scott Ian signature Jackson without locking nut that shit didn’t not stay in tune
I genuinely wonder if an evertune would fix that
you'll be praising it when zombies arrive at your doorstep
best guitar sword I've seen yet
Dog the headstock is the end you hold
The body is the part you smack/stab em with
valid
