I’ve been eyeing the Laney LFR-212, done a decent amount of research and I think this is the best thing to buy to get the most bang for my buck (being able to use the cab sims in the cortex live). I debated buying a power amp to use it to run through my EVH 2x12 but again, I wouldn’t be able to use the cab sim feature live. Any thoughts/ experiences before I officially bite the bullet?
#LANEY LFR-212 for Quad Cortex

I mean with the quad cortex you could do like have the evh cab on stage and have a separate track that has the cab ir go to foh
What power amp should I buy? I heard the SD PowerStage 700 is the only one that would work
But there’s a deal online for the SD power stage 100
Oh cool, I just wanted to make sure it wouldn’t fry or something
I'm in the same boat, but I decided against the Laney because it's 60lbs and the main benefit of the QC is the lightweight nature of the rig
If you want an FRFR, find a 2x12 that weighs 20lbs
The way I see it, either go real all the way (tube head + cab) or fake all the way (modeler+ lightweight frfr)
