The headstock seems damaged. I think it can be repaired with wood glue although I'm not sure.
Despite that, it would definitely sell for a lot less because of that
The amp is a nice addition since its a champion
I'd pay a total of like 300 bucks for all of that

How would the glue fix it?

There’s no break

#

It’s chipped it seems

meager root
#

oh yeah you're right mb

#

no need for glue then
The deal is good

weak dome
#

So it's un-repairable?

floral pike
#

its repairable

#

but is it worth repairing

weak dome
#

Idk is it?

floral pike
#

to me its not

weak dome
#

What make sit worth or not worth

floral pike
#

do you think its easy to repair a painting?

#

not really

weak dome
#

:)

floral pike
#

you'd have to paint over the entire area of concern

#

and redo the painting from scratch essentially

#

thats what you'd be doing with that headstock

weak dome
#

It doesnt look like painting, it feels like a plastic covering

floral pike
#

its not

weak dome
#

Ah okay

floral pike
#

its poly finish

#

its not plastic, it just flakes off like that when its damaged

#

you're not putting a piece of plastic over the headstock, repairing that would involve repainting and refinishing the whole section again

#

it's an epiphone standard

#

there's not much value to lose on top of being already a used guitar

#

im just saying it's not worth repairing, when the repair is so invasive, and the guitar isn't like super up there in value as is

weak dome
#

So is the guitar worth getting at all if that's the case?

floral pike
#

if you want it then its worth it

#

thats the thing with used gear

#

its value is directly tied to how much you want it

weak dome
#

I understand

weak dome
floral pike
#

no

#

it'd be unreliable

#

i dont want that guitar, and i dont want that amp

#

so to me its effectively worth 0 dollars
