I'm looking to buy them, the person offered them for $200
How would the glue fix it?
@wise cloud
Fix what
the headstock
So it's un-repairable?
Idk is it?
to me its not
What make sit worth or not worth
:)
you'd have to paint over the entire area of concern
and redo the painting from scratch essentially
thats what you'd be doing with that headstock
It doesnt look like painting, it feels like a plastic covering
its not
Ah okay
its poly finish
its not plastic, it just flakes off like that when its damaged
you're not putting a piece of plastic over the headstock, repairing that would involve repainting and refinishing the whole section again
i think it would lose more value if it lost its original paint too
it's an epiphone standard
there's not much value to lose on top of being already a used guitar
im just saying it's not worth repairing, when the repair is so invasive, and the guitar isn't like super up there in value as is
true
So is the guitar worth getting at all if that's the case?
if you want it then its worth it
thats the thing with used gear
its value is directly tied to how much you want it
I understand
So you can't give it a value at all?
