you mean audio interface for like an amp on the computer?
i stand on the side of the amp cause im a boomer
ok
to me you cant beat the experience of the actual speaker
unless you have speaker columns to play back computer emulated amp on
If you are a beginner - definitely an interface
And you can install NAM
It’s free and has a lot of stuff
Both are good options
i got an amp, then an audio interface because i didn't want to spent dozens of money on effects yet. Got scarlett solo and are very satisfied for the price
because of how just general the question is, ill say go interface
itll sound better pound for pound until u start getting higher up in the amp’s prices
i've little experience with amps and no experience on interface but the way i see it, you have to ask yourself if you just wanna play or do you want to record, how you answer that should dictate whether you're getting an interface (to record) or an amp (to play)
there's one thing with interfaces tho that just stomp most amps in comparative price ranges
