yes
its pink, you gotta get it
the original series guitars are very good
also that is a strat with a bridge cover lol
Exactly
Yeah it’ll look fockin sick when its reliced
Good to hear that, i’ve heard some bad things about the american line’s qc but i guess it won’t matter anyway cause its 2nd hand
neat, i had a pink strat once
nothing a good setup couldnt fix tbh
Thats absolutely gorgeous
Im think of replacing the neck with a roasted flame maple one
Something like this
if you're gonna use your own neck
why not just go the partscaster route
Good point, but im afraid of the soldering and drilling
its pretty easy just train on random wires to get the hang of it for a day
Honestly haven’t thought of that
because u never done it
and once u do youll think to yourself “wow, this is easy as fuck why do people pay money for this”
it do be like that
if it makes u feel better, underpaid south east asian people built your guitar in sweatshops and they don’t know a thing about guitar. soldering is not hard
aruond this time 3 years ago i couldn't even figure out how to work out a SOLDERLESS wiring kit, and now my part time job involves rewiring people's guitars entirely
damn thats a step
not much of a step because soldering genuinely is not hard
im tryna convince people of this everyday
i come from a lineage of electrical engineers i got explained everything precisely without understanding a word of it
instead of going to a repair shop and dropping 60 bucks on a 10 minute task that only involves looking at a beginner level diagram
but ye cable go to hole and solder glues it
plus you can undo pretty much anything you do
it's hard to mess up because there are virtually no permanent damages
everything you do can be undone with ease, with no affect on the parts unless you're a knob and heat up the pot for 3 minutes straight just sitting their drooling on it
For that money I'd move on to suhr or vola.
Dunno if you can get a suhr for $1700
dont think itd be worth it anyway lol
You can't, but you can save more money for something like it or nicer
Dude a suhr is more than twice the price
“Just save up”
By that point i’ll just get a custom shop
What brand
Fender
There are fender cs’s for a bit more than 3000$
You know i could always save money for something nicer it doesn’t mean i need it
Why would i get something nicer than an american original series if im not a professional musician?
Heck there are professional musicians using epiphones and squires
maybe youre just made of money
Yeah
that is true
Might as well save up for a private jet

You need like one studio baby.
The “save up” method works for guitars if youre wondering between a 300 and 500 dollar guitar not 1600 and 3000
you dont lol
See the thing is im not going to any studios
Haven’t even done a gig in my life
even if, studio baby as expensive guitar for the sake of being expensive
is a small brain move
Some of the most famous guitars on records were squires believe it or not
i mean maybe its just me
but i tend to prefer the debut albums of most bands and its always recorded on their worst gear
Yeah
Point is you don’t need a 4000$ guitar for casual giging
i mean gigging musicians take cheap guitars to gigs
I just want something solid that will stick with me over the years
Yeah funny thing, my favorite local band uses a squire body strat that was upgraded a bit
yeah def smart move
And the guy who plays it is really fucking good
I can agree with living within your means.
Dude its not about living within my means if i really wanted i’d save up for a custom shop but there is no need
Well to answer your own question you will get the guitar or not
I listened to reasonable suggestions here by people one if which was NOT spending twice as much on a piece of equipment most people who make a living off of playing guitar don’t have
