It's the sss configuration tho and I've heard that hss is more versatile

it wont even matter later on

yes an added humbucker can potentially add more tone options but its still all about preference

it wont limit you from playing anything you wanna play

almost everyone who played a stratocaster played it in an sss configuration anyway B^)

it doesnt actually 'rust'

its probably corroded

which is alright, some peoples sweat is more acidic than others so it can cause that
