hey reader, I'm thinking of trying to write a song for someone, and even tho my guitar skills are okay, I struggle with writing something good myself. I play it on accoustic and it's gonna be a nice mellow song that comes from the heart. I got a little start but i was wondering if someone could guide me in the right direction and maybe show me how to advance the song to a good level. I hope to hear from someone and that with your help, I can write a song for someone that means the world to me.

I think if it’s from the heart, you should be fine whatever chords/techniques you use
